Meredith Lubitz has been a talent development junkie for some time, leading company wide talent, recruitment and learning development initiatives for a broad range of global businesses. Currently, she is leading the recruitment, onboarding, wellness, culture + diversity, leadership development, succession planning, mobile programs and executive coaching initiatives across Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal. Her efforts are focused on building and managing a broad spectrum of global programs and talent development initiatives. Meredith has extensive experience driving the talent strategy in the publishing, finance, technology, and media world, having worked previously at American Express, KPMG, About.com, and Transamerica, among others. She launched one of the most important initiatives of her career in the journalism space, a Digital Journalism Training Program, full immersion into digital platforms and introducing journalists to video, blogs, social media, mobile technology into their reporting and writing. At the heart of her work is a strong focus on weaving a culture of ongoing learning into the fabric of companies with an emphasis on customized development to one's unique needs, team environment, and work settings. Meredith holds an MPS from Cornell University in Labor and Industrial Relations, a BA from University of Wisconsin in Economics, and is a Certified Executive Coach.
